About Me
A little bit about me... My name is Wendy and I am the child care provider and teacher at Blessings Abound. I am a mother to three wonderful children; one son age 9, and two daughters, ages 7 and 1. I have a super sweet husband, Eric, and we have been married for 10 awesome years!
We recently moved to Montana from Colorado Springs, CO, where I started my family child care career! My home was a licensed home child care with the State of Colorado. I was working diligently on setting up a quality child care home, taking various quality trainings and joining the quality improvement program that the State of Colorado offers. And then....
My husband was offered a job in Bozeman, MT. So, we have relocated to Livingston, MT, beginning a new decade together. Continuing what I love to do - taking care of children!
I completely enjoy working with children and I take pride in my profession as a child care provider. Therefore, I have made it my personal goal to offer a quality child care and preschool program to the Livingston community.
I am a member of the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), the National Association for Family Child Care (NAFCC), the Montana Child Care Association (MtCCA), and the Bridger Child Care Association (BCCA).
I am currenty in enrolled in classes through the University of Montana - Western to obtain my degree in Early Childhood. I attend several training events in the area, expanding my knowledge in child development.
I am finishing my Child Develoment Associate (CDA) and I am working towards National Association for Family Child Care (NAFCC) Accreditation. I also hold and maintain current CPR and First Aid certifications. Please review my
