Our Place
The Imagination Station is where we go to create whatever you can imagine. This area includes art activities, a writing center, sensory play, and playdough.
The Circle area is where we meet as a group, telling stories, singing songs, dancing our little hearts out, learning about the weather and the calender, and deciding what jobs we will each do today!
Included in this area is the Library Center, where children can go to read throughout the day!
The Exploration Station is the perfect place for those that want to explore and examine. This area includes activities that relate to Science, Math, and Letters. Children can come sit at the table and choose from many letter games, math games or blocks, make patterns, count, measure, examine magnets. Or, they can come observe the Hermit Crabs. The possibilities are endless in this station.
Children can clean the house, bake a cake, make a phone call, take an order, serve some lunch, have a tea party, or pretend to be anything they want to be in the dramatic play area.
Children can build and construct many new things with various blocks, mega blocks, and manipulatives. They can build things up... and knock 'em down! They can build a town drive all around with the cars and people that also are in this area.
